WEEKLY MALA MEDITATION: Grief & Loss

We have all felt the devastating sting of loss, whether it’s through the death of a loved one, divorce, end of a friendship, etc. Our pain cannot be measured or compared to another’s because every experience someone has is relative only to them, and everyone’s ability to cope is at different levels. One thing we all have in common is that we can all benefit from whatever help we are able to find when dealing with grief. Part of why we grieve so deeply is because we love so deeply. Unlike what we may have heard, the stages of grief don’t happen in a neat, orderly way, and there is no wrong way to do grief. Although the initial pain of loss can feel insurmountably heavy, know that it won’t always feel that way. These are some affirmations that have helped me along the way.

HOW TO USE YOUR MALA:
Starting next to the guru bead, move your fingers from one counting bead to the next as you say the affirmations in the photo. Once you’ve returned to the guru bead, you have completed a full meditation!

I am discovering new strengths within myself. •I allow myself to heal at my own pace. I will be patient with myself and with this process I release all blame and allow love and forgiveness to help heal me. Bridge To Balance, LLC'
